Jameson Rodgers is an artist that, I don’t feel, gets as much recognition as he deserves — one of the brightest and most promising stars right now in the Nashville Country Music scene. Yes, I know it’s all about appeal and competition within the music industry, but this dude is special. Y’all welcome Mississippi native, Jameson Rodgers… and might I add, Nashville is no new territory to Jameson.

Rodgers has been hard at playing bars and venues for well over a decade, grinding hard to make his music dream a reality, and become an officially signed to a major label. After a while of honing himself as a legit songwriter, and being credited for multi-Platnium selling songs for other artists (Florida Georgia Line’s “Talk You Out of It”) & (Chris Lane’s hit “I Don’t Know About You”), he has been long overdue to shine as a solo artist — and his time has finally arrived, so buckle up.

His debut album Bet You’re From A Small Town released on September 17, 2021, and Jameson says in an interview, “This album is a dream come true”, Rodgers exclaims. “I can remember a time, not so long ago, when none of this was going on and it seemed like it would never happen”, he adds. “I mean, things like this don’t happen to guys like me”. With his quick success, Jameson Rodgers is quickly planting a firm spot among the future legends of an already crowded genre in Country Music

Rodgers is signed to major label Columbia Nashville, and most Country music fans might know him most for his popular 2021 hit single “Cold Beer Calling My Name”, (in which he duets with mega Country superstar Luke Combs). The hit single topped the U.S. Billboard Country Airplay charts reaching to #1.

Jameson was announced as the Grande Ole Opry’s NextStage Artist during the month of December 2022. He states in an interview with MusicRow article, “…To be their NextStage artist for December is truly an honor”. He adds, “I’m grateful every time I step into the circle and am excited about this opportunity as the NextStage artist.” And months earlier in 2021, he was also nominated by MusicRow for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year”.

On Bet You’re From A Small Town, Jameson co-wrote 14 out of the 15 tracks on his record. His record has a heavy, strong Country/Rock sound and songs like “Cold Beer Calling My Name”, “Some Girls”, “Close To Anything But You”, and “One Day” help put you in that party, friends celebratory mode and a feel-good time.

The record was produced by Chris Farren and Jake Mitchell. “Bars Back Home” and the title track “Bet You’re From A Small Town” helped sincerely showcase Jameson’s 11-year journey off a first and promising LP. Enjoy you some Country Music!
