It’s Alana Springsteen

First off, I would like to set the record straight by letting you all know that this Country girl has no blood relation to the Rock legend Bruce Springsteen — fans can automatically assume why the two would be related due the high profile last name. Alana is a true artist all her own, as she personally aims to push artistic boundaries pouring her ethnic roots into her songs, developing her own Country sound. She is an artist whose music that I throughly enjoy, as Alana emerges and shines bright into the Country spotlight amongst an already crowded pool of new generation female peers — such as Kelsea Ballerini, Morgan Wade, Carly Pearce, to name a few.

The gorgeous blonde bomhails from Virginia Beach, Florida — she describes her hometown as “country meets coastal”. Alana Springsteen began writing her own songs ag only 9 years old, and much later in her adult years became a Nashville-based singer songwriter. She, as well as importantly, first got her music exposure to the public growing up singing the National Anthem at different sporting events, minor baseball league games — where her father passionately pitched his talented daughter to pro-teams to sing for their opening games. Ironically, it led her constant exposure to eventually be discovered by Neil Speilburg, Nashville entrepreneur and “star maker”. To add, the following year, Alana landed a record deal with major label Columbia Records NY/Sony Nashville. And it grew to be a successful run for Springsteen.

To add, filling in a little more about this Virginia Beach native, Alana has also reached 100 million career streams worldwide. She also just completed the “Barstool Whiskey Wonderland Tour” with headline new Country star Adam Doleac. So, indeed, Alana is letting her artistry shine bright and people and early fans are quickly taking notice.

Which bring me to discussing her forthcoming debut twenty something releasing on August 18th across all nationwide music platforms. twenty something will be released into three-parts, and explains from a source that Alana “gets things wrong so we can learn how to fix them”. The full-length album will, furthermore, confront commitment issues, temptation, and even some compartmentalization, mixed in with broken emotions. Alana says of the album’s “twenty something” theme, “I’ve been on this journey of really getting to know myself. Your twenties can be an emotional rollercoaster, and I processed all of that in stages”. There’s not much information on who wrote on the album, but Country superstar Mitchel Tenpenny is indeed a big contributor on “You Don’t Deserve a Country Song”, alongside co-writers Geoff Warburton, Will Weatherly and Michael Whitworth, and Springsteen herself.

To continue, Alana further unpacks her feelings about the album, saying in an interview with music article MusicRow, “have a tendency to let my feelings consume me, whether they are good or bad.”. That’s why I ended up becoming a songwriter, so I could have a productive outlet for those emotions and all of that turmoil. This song is my attempt to reclaim my power after my ex took so much of it away from me. It’s about finding my confidence and getting to a place where I could start to trust myself and my judgment again. Most importantly, it’s a reminder to myself about the importance of living in the present and being grateful for all of the ‘once in a lifetime’ moments I’ve been lucky enough to experience recently.”

Some of my personal early favorite songs off the debut album, thus far, are “look i like”, “tennessee is mine”, “if you love me”, and of course, “you don’t deserve a country song”. The favorites will continue to pile on once her debut drops next week. So, do yourself a big favor and pre-order or download this girl’s record — she’s gonna be here for the long-haul.
