Killin’ It, Kane Brown

There aren’t many Country artists who are “killing it” right now like superstar Kane Brown. From his early rise as a social media star posting cover videos of him singing on platforms like Instagram and Twitter, to now selling out stadiums across the country and topping the Country music charts — his story is one to admire. He hails from Chattanooga, TN. With three successful albums under his belt Kane Brown (2017), Experiment (2019) and 2022’s Different Man.

Brown’s ability to take Country songs and incorporate Hip-Hop, R&B, and bring back a reawakening of Pop Country into the genre is astounding, among similar artists who are carrying the same feat. He has sold more than 3,500,000 albums in the U.S., been nominated for Academy of Country Music’s “Entertainer of the Year” (among many other accolades), and currently has the No. 1 hit on Country radio right now with his latest single “Thank God”, featuring wife Katelyn Brown. However, surprisingly Brown was snubbed from most of the nominations for this year’s CMA Awards — yet Brown’s star remains unstoppable. But let’s jump into his current record “Different Man”, that released Sept. 5, 2022.

Kane’s “Different Man” was released via RCA Records, and produced by Dan Huff (Keith Urban, Faith Hill), Andrew Goldstein, Lindsay Rimes. & Ilya Toshinsky.

To continue, some of my early favorites off this record are “Like I Love Country Music”, “One Mississippi”, “Leave You Alone”, “Losing You”, “Dear Georgia”, “Grand”, “Whiskey Sour”, among many. The record features a whopping 17-tracks, and is one of his longest-running albums, track wise. Overall, Different Man is a standout record, in my book, amongst other Country records, because it shows that Country can have different flares, flavors, and an overall different look when it comes to shaking up and modernizing the traditional genres

Different Man is available for purchase wherever music is sold and downloaded today.
